WHAT IS FILIGRANES MENORCA?

we are a family company that offers excursions on sailing boats with professional skipper. We are two sea and sailing enthusiasts born in Menorca, sons of sailors and fishermen, our lives have always been closely linked to the sea and sailing. The creation of this company arises from the desire to share our passion for the sea, sailing and love for our wonderful island. We want to transmit all those feelings and that you can enjoy our beaches and crystal clear waters in an environment without noise, with very little pollution and unhurried as a sailboat, always respecting the marine flora and fauna of the Biosphere Reserve.

OUR CAPTAIN

Guillem is passionate about the sea and sailing. Born in Es Migjorn Gran, in the south of Menorca. From a very young age he began his relationship with the world of sailing sailing in wind surf and dinghy sailing and, whenever he has the opportunity, he takes the opportunity to go sailing with his sailboat and get to know the most wonderful and exclusive corners of the island. He has more than eleven years of experience as an excursion guide in the north of Menorca, bringing the fascinating coves and beaches closer to all curious visitors. But he is also a boat mechanic, which gives us extra peace of mind that the boat is always in the best possible condition.

OUR BOAT: FURIA 37

The Furia (Dressport) shipyard began in the mid 70’s. They were, and still are, very popular boats. They were, and still are, very popular boats. There is no doubt that they marked a milestone in the national industry during the eighties but after the entry of Spain into the European Community Dresport, in the early nineties, had to close its doors leaving few copies manufactured, which makes them almost unique.

The boat has a very modern shape, with a wide and rounded stern, a considerable beam and modern appendages. The Furia 37 is surely the Furia that was born with the greatest sporting ambitions. Her racing record, combined with a successful interior layout for cruising, laid the foundations for her success. In the early eighties she was a reference model in the Spanish market. It has always stood out for its hardness to heel and for its excellent ability to go upwind in all sea conditions. Its sailing qualities and its interesting habitability are still its strong points.
